Designed by Daniel Weil of Pentagram, The Official World Chess Set (Academy Edition) replicates the iconic design of the renowned World Chess Championship set in plastic. This same design is used in both World Chess Championship matches and Grand Prix events.

Crafted in custom molds using premium plastic, these quality chess pieces are perfectly weighted for their size and have a total weight of 600 grams.

The king stands 3.4 inches, making it ideal for chess clubs and tournaments. The sturdy chess board measures 17.3 inches and folds into quarters to fit into the smart, practical presentation case with pull-out drawer. The board is notated for recording your moves and matches for later review and study. It also allows you to replicate moves and games that have been notated by other players.
