A very traditional chess set combination of our elegant Windsor Series chess pieces in solid rosewood and boxwood, matched with a luxurious mongoy palisander and maple chess board.

The Windsor pieces are superbly proportioned and nicely weighted for their size. Hand-turned and polished using natural waxes, these pieces display some of the classic characteristics of the original Staunton design, yet possess more contemporary lines and curves that bring them to life.

The woods of the chess board match well with the color of the chess pieces, and the eggshell lacquer improves the richness of the grain. In all, a classic set that oozes quality and value.

This chess set includes a burl chess piece case with a hinged lid.
