As with all Italfama products, these chess pieces are beautifully crafted from resin composite, offering superb detailing and finish. All the zodiac signs are represented in their easily recognized forms. The Leo and Aquarius kings stand proud, supported by their Virgo and Libra queens. The bishops are portrayed by Aries and Taurus, while Sagittarius and Capricorn make excellent knights. Gemini and Pisces are on the flanks as the rooks, with Cancer and Scorpio making very ornate pawns.

All the pieces are individually marked with their rank to make play easier, and we also sell a bundle with a 15.7-inch walnut and maple chess board from Spain to give you the Zodiac-themed full chess set.

Please note that as these pieces are hand-painted, there may be some inconsistencies in the level of detail and color and therefore your pieces may be very slightly different from the images shown. Any inconsistencies, however, are minimal.
