Despite their miniature size, nothing is lost in the way of detail or quality in the crafting of the Coronation luxury ebony chess pieces.

Individually and painstakingly carved from solid quality ebony and boxwood, these pieces form a diminutive Staunton set, making a monumentally bold statement. The detailing of the finial on the 2.4-inch king and the facial expressions of the knights are as detailed as any of the larger sets of pieces available. As you would expect from a luxury set of chess pieces, this set includes two additional queens for promotion.

For both aesthetic and practical purposes, these weighted, felted luxury chess pieces have their own presentation box. With a plush burgundy felt-covered foam insert, each piece has its own compartment to keep it fully protected while not in play.
