A very traditional chess set combination of our classic Staunton-design Supreme series chess pieces in solid rosewood and boxwood with our luxurious deep rosewood and black anegre chess board finished in a high-gloss lacquer.

The Supreme chess pieces are superbly proportioned and nicely weighted for their size.

Hand-turned and naturally polished, the rosewood pieces display some of the classic characteristics of the original Staunton design, but have more contemporary lines and curves that bring them to life.

The rosewood border of the chess board echoes the tone and color of the chess pieces superbly, and the rich, glossy lacquer enhances the wood grain. In all, a classic chess set that oozes quality and value.

This chess set includes a beautiful burl wood veneer chess case divided into two black felt-lined compartments.
