A superb Staunton chess set featuring double-weighted Jacob Knight chess pieces, a mahogany chess board, and a carry bag. Well crafted, consistent, and great value.

The chess pieces are expertly crafted from graded sheesham and boxwood, are double-weighted, and have excellent balance. They have tall, elegant proportions and have been finished by hand with a natural polish. The uniformity of the pieces is outstanding; you would be hard-pressed to find any variation in the knights, and you will not find a set with better consistency for the price. A chess piece bag is included.

The chess board has been manufactured in Europe using sustainable plantation woods. The mahogany and maple inlays are expertly aligned to create the checkerboard, and a thin layer of satin varnish seals the board from spills and scuffs.

Please note that the chess piece bags are now produced in a much darker red and without the tassel end caps.
