This set has been fully crafted from solid wood (no fiberboard or MDF has been used in any part of its production). It is perfectly inlaid, and each square is a separate cut of wood.

Beautifully carved in the classic Staunton style, each chess piece is crafted from solid wood and, despite its diminutive size, boasts an amazing amount of detail; extra queens are included. Fitted with magnetic bases, the chess pieces stick well to the chess board, which has concealed metal. This is a lovely little chess set and would make a great gift for any chess enthusiast.
