A beautifully constructed large chess board produced by the world-famous Spanish chess board maker Rechapados Ferrer. Mongoy palisander and maple veneers are used throughout. The chess board's base is also constructed from quality wooden veneers. Modern fabrication techniques make for a chess board with clean lines and meticulous attention to detail.

The veneers used are very rich in dark reds and browns with a subtle grain, perfect for matching with rosewood or ebony chess pieces with king heights of 3.7 inches.
